When a hire fails, the employer bears the loss: fees, salary, missed opportunities. The candidate loses more still: momentum, reputation, sometimes a career. Both losses we hold equally unacceptable.
The model
Banking recruitment traditionally rewards the recruiter at signature. We rethought that architecture from its foundations: our interests are aligned with those of the client and the candidate alike, and our commitment extends far beyond the placement.
Our fee is only due once the banker reaches their break-even.*

The founder
Hunkar Finance was founded by a former member of the Merrill Lynch private bank. Advising UHNW clients, building a book, the pressure of a business plan: these are realities our founder knows intimately. It is that first-hand knowledge of the profession that shapes the firm's method: we assess finance professionals the way the industry does, because we come from it. An entrepreneur at heart, he built Hunkar Finance to solve the hiring problem of the very industry he comes from: placing the key people who enable institutions to succeed, grow and reach their goals in a fiercely competitive market.
